We're often asked at concerts and here at the website; "what can I do to help support independent music and musicians like the artists at Falling Mountain?". First - thank you for caring enough about our music and our artists to want to help. Here are a few ideas you might consider:

  • Join our mailing list for news when our artists have new releases or might be touring in your area

  • Come catch a show (hint: our artist pages all have calendar links to make them easier for you to find)
  • Take 10 friends with you to the show!

  • Consider giving the gift of music; you can do your shopping easily at our online store. It's a great way to support independent music, and we are always very grateful.

  • Request our music on your local folk and acoustic radio programs. If your local station doesn't have our music, please email us to let us know how to get in touch and get them supplied with appropriate CDs

  • Consider putting up some flyers around your community if one or more of our artists will be performing there in a few weeks email us and we'll be sure to get you supplied. Those "on the ground" resources in advance of a show can make such a huge impact on turnout.

  • We often team up with like-minded business partners and sponsors; if your business may have a creative opportunity and an interest in helping support independent music, please email us and let's explore the possibilities.

  • Consider hosting a concert

That's right - you could host a concert! If you find the idea of attending a concert compelling, consider hosting a concert for one or more of our artists at your local church, cafe or even the comfort of your own home. We've developed a very handy and easy-to-use resource to guide you through the process, our "How to Host an Acoustic Music Concert" manual. In addition to great discussions on the basics of organizing, presenting and publicizing a concert, it includes a very useful one-page checklist. It is a read-only Microsoft Word document, click here to download. For more information, please send us an email at info@fallingmountain.com.

Thank you so much for being willing to consider any of these things. The support of our audience, our friends, our fans, our customers - this is the bedrock of Falling Mountain. It is an amazing delight to watch how much that support continues to grow.
