Four Miniatures for Solo Guitar (2019) is a collection of short pieces honoring some individuals who all came to inform my music. They be performed separately or as a set, either in the order found in the score or an order of the performer's choosing. In much the same way as when I serve a delicious meal to friends I tend not to dwell on the healthful ingredients; likewise, I prefer not to refer to these pieces as 'Etudes, though they do provide a 'healthy' focus on specific techniques for the emerging guitarist.
